Read the home, level by level
Use the floor plan to test privacy, movement and usable space.
Label both levels
Write down the rooms and access points on each level. Check that the plan shows the exact unit rather than a similar type elsewhere in the development.
Trace a normal day
Draw the routes between the entrance, living space, kitchen and bedrooms. Decide whether the distribution suits the people who will use the home.
Ask about every missing area
Keep internal area, terrace area and double-height voids distinct. When a measurement is absent, request it rather than deriving it from a photograph.
